Things I am Excited About

1. Thai food for lunch. It's been so long. Bring on the heat!
2. A nap. Woke up at 3:30.
3. Wine festivals (3/14. be there)
4. Chili Cookoff. Always a good time to be had.
5. Abby's wedding (July 4!) and shower/bachelorette party (late May, details coming soon!)
6. Kickball to start
7. Summa time. Toes in the sand. Swimming in pools. Not getting eaten by sharks.
8. My new panini press. Made to order! Come on over.
9. The weather we are going to have this weekend... I'll be able to open windows while I paint!
10. My monkey themed bathroom (in progress).

My Friends Say I Only Like Guys That Are Mean to Me...

...And I'm afraid they might be right. Last night 3 girls who know me well were ridiculing me because I lose interest in a guy when he's nice to me, and immediately gain it back when he starts blowing me off! While I vehemently (you like my vocabulary? I had to dictionary.com it to make sure I was using it and spelling it correctly) denied these allegations, they unanimously agreed. So what's up with that? I think I'll blame my issues on a series of unfortunate events and people... of course it's not MY fault.

Identifying the Desired Outcome

The first step to managing a successful project is identifying the desired outcome. The goal. The purpose. Seems simple. So why don't people get it?

Working on a project without a concrete idea of where you're headed is a waste of time and resources. And really f*in frustrating!

Pardon the brevity of this blog. I have to get back to work -- a project with no beginning and no end!
